NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR THE RIGHTS OF VICTIMS OF CRIME

The public presentation of the new National Strategy for the Rights of Victims of Crime took place in Lisbon on January 11th, in the auditorium of the Institute for Financial Management and Justice Equipment, promoted by the Ministry of Justice.

The presentation was made by Sónia Reis, from the Minister of Justice's office. The Portuguese Victim Support Association (APAV), which actively participated in the working group, took part in the round table discussion of the strategy, moderated by Dália Costa. The presentation of APAV was given by Frederico Moyano Marques, Technical Advisor to the APAV Board of Directors, in the presence of João Lázaro, President of APAV. The event was closed by the Minister of Justice, Catarina Sarmento e Castro.
